Babysitting Miley!

My friend Tenille had her prenatal check-up today. She only has like 4 weeks left! Lucky for us, we got to have Miley over while she was at her appointment. Lizzie LOVES Miley and always asks to go to her house or have her over, so needless to say this was a great day for Liz.

The only problem was, Lizzie assumed because Miley is younger, she'd want to be treated like a baby. Miley was a good sport and even let Liz hold her on her lap for awhile. It looked kinda silly considering they probably weigh close to the same weight, LOL!

I also realized today how mature Lizzie really is. She would bring me any coins or other little toys she'd find and say, "No Miley get it!" She knew those little objects could be dangerous for Miley and was a big helper. It was pretty awesome and gave me confidence in Lizzie's future big sister abilities : )

Quilt Progress!

So Sarah and I are making quilts at the same time, and we thought it would motivate us to see our projects through if we posted our updates on our blogs. I have seen her's in person and it is looking SUPER cute! I am still in the square cutting phase, but will probably put one block together soon to see how I like it so far.

I chose 4 fabrics for a disappearing 9-block pattern. I absolutely LOVE 2 of the fabrics, and kinda settled for the other 2, but we'll see. I may end up getting more fabric to give some more variety. These photos may not look like much, but the stack sure is heavy and believe me, it took awhile to cut each of these 7" by 7" blocks.
Lizzie will be going down for a nap soon, so then I'll have my chance to go at it again. I am determined to have everything cut by Saturday evening! Wish me luck.....

Go Huskies!

Our little diehard fan! hehe. Thanks to Auntie Ash for the sweet tattoo to show her team spirit!

Tomorrow night the Huskies will face Cal High again in the first round of playoffs. We beat them in pre-season, so let's do it again! Hope it doesn't rain....if I remember correctly, they have a dirt field. Not fun for anyone.
